Trust and verification

Marketplace Vetting Framework

What CatalystBox checks, what each status means, and what verification does not promise.

Version 1.0Published 28 July 2026

Principles

  • Verification is evidence-based and status-labelled.
  • Sponsored placement never changes a verification decision.
  • We minimise documents and restrict them to authorised reviewers.
  • Verification confirms the checks stated below; it is not a warranty of quality, legality, solvency or future performance.

Institutions

We may check official registration or directory identifiers, institutional email/domain, address and the authority of the account signatory. Statuses distinguish email verification from full registration verification.

Providers

Checks may include legal name, registration type and number, GST/Udyam details where applicable, official contact details, service evidence and disclosed experience. A blue verification mark means the displayed verification checks passed at the recorded time; it does not guarantee an engagement outcome.

Teachers and staff

Checks may include identity, qualifications and employment evidence. Institutions remain responsible for role-specific background checks, references and legal hiring obligations.

Review, expiry and appeals

We may request updated documents, suspend a status when evidence expires or conflicts, and revoke it for misrepresentation. Affected users can submit a tracked grievance or appeal from Settings → Privacy, requests & notices. Administrators record the decision and outcome in Policy Operations.
